I told her that I made that decision because it didn't really match my aesthetic. You know, the goal that I was going for on my platform was one of empathy and compassion and understanding, growth, community, wellness and health.
It took me a few years to fully contemplate what I absorbed from that experience because I could say I was sad, but the truth is I wasn't sad.
